Michael Nowak Since hearing the song "Haunting" and the entire Mamahawk album, I have been hoping and wishing for this kind of collaboration and it was worth the wait. Favorite track: Drip Dry Gloves ft. Silas Green.

you say you’re busy, but I doubt it’s true you play me dizzy when i come for you this distance is delicious but it’s making me want you so switch lanes things change when we are not alone these games are strange we love to play them though (oh) this distance is delicious but it’s making me want you so

[james] i cannot stand how you can’t hold me in your hand, love with drip dry gloves we grew up tall, cut my legs and i fall into a dark dream it carries me home [christopher] i’ve been your fool for too long got me licking like a lapdog at your feet i know you don’t give a damn you’re leaving but i’m locked on [james] yellow lights, streets of blue the two of us, the two of you under those spells i could never prove i must admit your moves are smooth [silas green] six degrees of separation six degrees of different needs we move like ships passing in the night at different speeds wish i could hit the fast forward on my memory and switch you from a fresh wound into a distant history nowadays your name is a grenade my friends toss it around, afraid to throw it my way what can i say to that? infinite shades of grey that we would rather see in black and white like a raiders hat stuck in the wilderness of cheap imitations surface-level substitutes with deep limitations i play it cool, calm, collected just so i can move on unaffected went from Don Dada to persona non grata to a walk-on-role in my own drama on my mama i was planning to spend the whole week at the bar then got lit the first night and locked my keys in the car that’s the kind of sign you see in the stars but i was buzzing so i wasn’t looking up as much doe-si-doe with so and so double-dutch with such-and-such even though we stroll the solo dolo road in front of us

[james] coming out here i should have known better is there really nothing you can show me now? are you even out tonight? pitch black sky / your colors are elusive but I have seen that side of you know i wanted to believe it’s gonna be a little while ‘till i can return it’s gonna be a little while ‘till i have learned what it takes to face the lights telescope lens from inside while seven stories high [christopher] been a little while since i’ve seen you haven’t kissed your lips since we misaligned we been walking out of time i wanna intercept that message with my name i’m reaching out to resonate, yeah now every little spark alight it’s gonna be a little while ‘till i can return it’s gonna be a little while ‘till i have learned what it takes to face the lights telescope lens from inside while seven stories high

about

We first started on these songs 3 years ago when we met in Austin, and they’ve taken about that long to come together. James was hard at work with his band (Mamahawk) releasing an album and playing shows, while Christopher had a tour and a solo record to support. Once this spring hit, we both found the mix of time and determination to finish these songs that brought us together. We’re really proud to be able to share this product of our growth.

Thank you thank you thank you for listening!
